The Clay County Pioneer Association will honor those of the Greatest Generation. (born before 1930) with a special recognition. If you or a family member belong to this group, then preregister and join us this year. Contact Patty Scheer at 940-538-4574.

7:00pm Presentation of CLAY COUNTY PIONEER ASSOCIATION PIONEER QUEEN AND DUCHESSES in the Tex Rickard Memorial Arena Prior to TCRA SANCTIONED RODEO

9am - 3pm Registration of Pioneers in Courthouse.
Registered Pioneers are 60 years of age and born in Clay County, or 60 years of age and a resident of Clay County for a total of 30 years at any time.
10:00 a.m. FLOAT PARADE  (Photos)  Parade Schedule and Map (as of 9/16/2009)
11:00 a.m. FROG & TERRAPIN RACES, north side of Courthouse, Pam Roberson, Chairman
11:30 a.m. Barbeque lunch honoring ALL REGISTERED CLAY COUNTY PIONEERS at VFW Building

1:00 p.m. Special entertainment on the Courthouse Lawn
7:00 p.m. CLAY COUNTY RODEO QUEEN and JUNIOR QUEEN crowned. GRAND ENTRY afterwards also in the arena. TCRA SANCTIONED RODEO immediately following Grand Entry in the arena. DANCE after rodeo in Pioneer Hall.
9:00 P.M. TO MIDNIGHT HERE IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO DANCE EVERY DANCE!

7:00 p.m. PARADE OF AWARD WINNING FLOATS in Tex Rickard Memorial Arena followed by Grand Entry and Awarding of Play Day trophies immediately following Grand Entry. Dance following the TCRA SANCTIONED RODEO
9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.  SATURDAY NIGHT DANCE Music by  Jake Hooker & the Outsiders
